1007 Ocean Avenue - Santa MonicaBoca Monica Development

The property that Boca Monica is situated on was originally known as the first Roy Jones house. Built in 1894 and located at 1007 Ocean Avenue, it is the earliest known American Colonial Revival style design of Sumner P. Hunt. The house was donated to the California Heritage Museum and was moved to 2612 Main Street in 1977.

In 1981 the Boca Monica was built into a sophisticated condominium community. North of famous California Avenue and the California incline, Boca Monica is so conveniently located that at any time you desire, hopping in your car to chase a California sunset or walking along Palisades Park for a little exercise and fresh air is no hassle when you reside at this magnificent Santa Monica location. With 18 units on 5 floors, units range around 2,000 square feet with two and three bedroom floor plans and units that offer sweeping and spectacular views. Every unit has something special about it. Expansive windows that open onto large ocean front balconies, kitchens with top of the line appliances, master bedroom suites so beautiful you’ll never want to leave and terraces allowing you a place to unwind and take in the ocean breeze.

Right out your front door is the glorious Palisades Park. Hiking trailheads so close and so naturally beautiful. Stop and take in a breathtaking sunset, stroll down to the Santa Monica Pier for entertainment and activities. Burn a few calories at the Santa Monica stairs. There’s a certain city feel to this part of Santa Monica because you’re within walking distance or a few minutes drive to whatever it is you desire. Restaurants both quaint and exotic, Santa Monica boutiques with artisan items, the famous Santa Monica Farmers Market, Montana Avenue for coffee houses, cafes and more shopping. The 3rd Street Promenade for people watching, movies and shopping. Take a stroll down the California Incline and spend a hot summer day on the vast sandy beaches swimming, surfing or sunning and getting lost in the moment. Jump in your car and within minutes you’ll be traveling north on Pacific Coast Highway heading toward Malibu, just because you can. You may even see dolphins along the way.
